Hold On, Magnolia

Jason Molina (December 30, 1973 – March 16, 2013) was an American musician and songwriter. Raised in Northern Ohio, Molina is known and loved as one of the great songwriters of recent times. He came to prominence performing and recording with a multitude of different projects, most notably Songs: Ohia and later Magnolia Electric Co. – two nebulous and constantly evolving projects, Molina’s master songcraft remained at the heart of every release.

Known for his prolific output, constant touring and searing, honest writing, Molina released a huge catalogue of music in his career, the majority of which was released on Bloomington’s Secretly Canadian label.

For the full story of Jason’s life, we encourage you to look into Erin Osmon’s comprehensive and thoughtful biography ‘Riding With The Ghost’ which can be found here.
